On the 9th of April 2014 Rail Cargo Carrier has finally began regular freight service between Austria and Turkey. At the photo you can see the very first train passing through the green fields after Pliska in Bulgaria. The service was officially presented to the turkish client BALO (http://www.balo.tc) earlier that day in the city of Ruse. Starting from 09.04.2014 the container trains will be travelling 5 times per week, making ÖBB Tauruses a relatively common sight for Bulgaria. The passenger coach seen right after the loco was used to transport RCA officials who had the chance to capture their first impressions throughout the journey.
