At the end of 2016, Bombardier Transportation and the Captrain Deutschland Group signed a contract for six TRAXX multi-system locomotives. Machines to be used for freight transport, mainly in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The first locomotive, unit 186 151 was released from work in May 2018.
