Polish operator Pol-Miedz Trans (PMT) ordered two Traxx DC electrics on 24.11.2009. Both machines were completed in December 2010, at Bombardier's assembly plant in Vado Ligure, competence center for DC-locomotives.
On 28-29.12.2010 both engines, designated as E483.201 and 202 were transported to Poland, via Germany. Remarkable is that the service numbers of both engines is inspried on the Italian system.

Since 2011, Polish operator Pol-Miedz Trans has two colorful Traxx DC locomotives. They started as E483.201 and 202, bot nowadays they have proper Polish service numbers 5 170 022 and 023. - MM
PMT once had the plan to order more Traxx DC machines, but this has not resulted in a fixed order up til now.

On 27.06.2011, Bombardier officially handed over the two Traxx locomotives for Polish operator Pol-Miedź Trans. Since mid-July the engines are operated between Lubin, Szczecin and Gdansk.
During the ceremony, PMT managing director made public that the company considers ordering six more Traxx locomotives. Three to be delivered in 2012 and three in 2013. - Railvolution
By the way, does anyone have up to date images of these locomotives? Do they still have the E483 service numbers? Yes they have.

Rynek Kolejowy informs us about Polish freight operator Pol-Miedź Trans from Lubin having purchased two Traxx locomotives. Most likely, it concerns Traxx MS electrics.
