GTS Rail is a railfreight operator from Bari, Italy. It is a subsidiary of GTS Logistics, a multimodal transportation company. In 2008, GTS Rail was granted an official railway license for the Italian network. A safety certificate was provided at the end of 2009. Both are necessary for independent railway operation in Italy. GTS Rail started its independent commercial operation in 2010.
